Who is responsible
MIRORIG is developed by VEENSTUDIOS, an independent solo developer. For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests, email [email protected].
The Android app
The current Android build connects to cameras over USB. Live-view images, camera settings and monitoring analysis are processed on your device. The app does not include an internet permission, advertising SDK, cloud account or automatic analytics upload.
Camera model, firmware, controls and connection diagnostics can be saved locally to help recover connections and investigate faults. Imported LUTs, scripts and monitor preferences also remain in the app’s local storage. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes that app data. Files you deliberately export to shared storage are managed separately by you.
Android may ask for USB access and notifications. Notifications support the camera connection service. The app cannot bypass Android’s USB consent. Camera diagnostic exports can contain body details and other camera-supplied values; review them before sharing.
Optional tester enrollment
If you enroll, we store your email, selected platform, camera brand/model, phone or tablet, OS version, optional notes, consent version and enrollment time. We use this information to organize testing and contact you about relevant MIRORIG test opportunities. Android enrollment is a request for an invitation; iOS enrollment registers interest only.
Consent is required and is not preselected. Please do not put passwords, serial numbers, personal footage or sensitive information in the notes. The form does not ask for payment details. No confirmation or marketing email is sent automatically by this website.
Storage, access and retention
Website enrollment is stored in the hosted site’s Cloudflare D1 database. Only authorized project access and the configured administrator can retrieve the list; it is not published. The public tunnel does not expose an administrator export. We do not sell enrollment information or use it for advertising profiles.
Your enrollment is active for 12 months. Expired entries are excluded from exports and removed during routine database cleanup. To leave earlier or correct your details, email us from the address you registered. We may need to verify a request before removing someone else’s information. Hosted infrastructure backups and security logs follow the provider’s retention practices.
Abuse prevention and website hosting
The form uses a short-lived, keyed hash of your network address to limit repeated requests. The enrollment database does not save the raw address. These rate-limit entries expire after 24 hours and are removed during routine cleanup. The hosting provider may process network addresses, request metadata and security logs to deliver and protect the website.
This site adds no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The public website does not require an account. Private previews require platform sign-in, whose authentication cookies and identity processing are handled by the hosting platform. That sign-in is separate from tester enrollment.
Your choices
Tester enrollment is optional. You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your enrollment, and withdraw consent to future testing emails, at [email protected]. This does not affect your use of the local Android build.
Updates
This policy will be reviewed if MIRORIG’s features or data handling change. An iOS build will need its own verified data-handling disclosures before testing or release.
